This fun New Year’s Eve event in Ellijay offers some big laughs across three shows, allowing you to see some of the best stand-up sets from Atlanta’s top comedians at a time that works for your itinerary. The last show sold out a week early, so book your tickets and your accommodations at the same time!
Entry is for adults 21 and over only. If you purchase tickets online, be sure to choose the event at The Butcher and Bottle.
2. Blue Ridge Silent Auction and Dinner
Take a 20-minute drive to Blue Ridge for this epic bash with the twist of a silent auction! General admission is $75. In return, you’ll get to bid on some fantastic deals while having a fantastic meal. Plan for lots of laughter and celebration! Prices rise to $95 after December 15. The event begins at 7:30 pm and ends at 1 am. You can bid on gift cards, power tools, 25,000 Delta Sky Miles, and other items.
3. Live Music at Bear Claw Vineyards
You’ll discover award-winning wine, a food truck, and live music at this New Year’s Eve event. David Welch is performing – a local musician you’ll love. It’s a beautiful Blue Ridge moment where you can enjoy the moment before turning in for the night at the Ellijay River House.
4. Live Music and a Fireplace at Chateau Meichtry
If you prefer a different vibe for your New Year’s celebration and love local wine, consider a trip to Talking Rock to visit this location. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Live music starts at 1:30 pm and lasts for about four hours. You’ll get to enjoy the sounds of Adrian Stover on the 31st with The Fry Baby Food Truck there to satisfy your hunger.
5. New Year’s Eve Bash at Paradise Hills
An $85 ticket gets you into one of the best private parties in the area, including live music from Chris Carpenter. It’s a classic spread with plenty of appetizers, holiday swag, and a sparkling wine toast. Wine and beer are also available for purchase.
6. New Year’s on the Blue Ridge Railway
This unique experience offers wine and dessert as you enjoy a New Year’s Eve trip on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. You’ll depart around 10 pm, and then return about a half-hour after midnight. All the cars are climate-controlled as you wind along the Toccoa River, ensuring a comfortable experience while taking the 26-mile excursion.
