Each room can accommodate two adults (in a queen bed) with the exception of the Wild Flower room, which has an extra twin bed. A $60 fee is added to this rental for use of the additional bed.

We love pets and have two dogs, but do not have the facilities to accommodate animals, other than service dogs as defined by the ADA. Emotional support animals are not allowed and not covered by the ADA. Our dogs, Bella and Kona, do not have access to the guest portions of the house, including the veranda, magnolia deck and riverside deck closest to the house. Although, they may greet you in the backyard!

When you register, please tell us if you have any dietary restrictions. We will try to accommodate you to the best of our ability. As a small B&B we may not be able to meet every dietary need.

We do not have a liquor license. However, you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages and mixers. We will gladly provide drinking glasses, utensils, ice, a corkscrew, and bottle opener.

First time at a Bed & Breakfast?

No worries!  We will work to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are excited to share our home with you. Here are details you may not know:

  • We live in the house so be sure to give us a call ahead of time if you know you’ll be arriving after 7pm.  This helps us with planning so we can make each guest feel as welcome as possible.

  • Before you arrive, let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or are celebrating a special event.

  • We’ll welcome you to our home and take you on a tour of the house/property and your room.  You’ll receive a private code to gain access to the house through the front door during your stay.  Also, for your security and privacy, you will receive one key for use with both your bedroom and bathroom.  Be sure to return this key when you check out.

  • We are happy to help you plan your stay while in Ellijay so don’t hesitate to ask!

  • Each morning we’ll serve breakfast in the dining room between 8:30 and 9:30 am.  A B&B is a great place to meet other travelers over a meal, and can be a good time to get sight-seeing tips from others who have been here before!

  • During your stay, you will have access to certain areas of the property and house (except our private quarters). We’ll share this with you on your tour.

  • Accidents happen.  If you spill something in your room let us know right away so we can clean it for you.

  • Other than answering your questions or assisting with any needs you may have while in the house, we’ll stay out of your way and let you enjoy the Ellijay River House experience!
